Why Alloy? Alloy is the fusion of different metallic elements to make a stronger, more resistant material. It captures the essence of Alloy Bistro's fusion of rustic and comfort, high-end and familiar and finally the different cultures it represents. The Mediterranean region is a melting pot of ethnicities, language and cuisine that is captured in the Alloy experience. This cozy, intimate restaurant is a labor of love. Renovated, re-finished and furnished by the three co-founders, it is a true family operation. Every time you stop in, it is as if you are being invited to dine in their home. This family experience is reinforced by the emphasis on the sharing of dishes.

Federico

CO-FOUNDER | Executive Chef  

Federico Genovese has been passionate about cooking for as long as he can remember. Born in Bracciano Italy and raised mostly in France, he fell in love with the world of fine dining at the age of 13 training with the renowned Chef Jean Francois Le Bec in Bretagne. Since then, his career has taken him from France to Montreal to Tunisia and now, to Miami. Rooted in Mediterranean flavors, his cuisine is experimental and adventurous all while preserving the comfort of the traditional, home-cooked plate. His emphasis on quality is unwavering and his attention to detail is surprising. You can be sure to walk away satisfied and hopefully, inspired. 

Claudio

CO-FOUNDER | General Manager      

Claudio Genovese is an entrepreneur in every sense of the term. Born in Italy and raised in France, he left for London at a young age and traveled the world before settling in Miami a decade ago. He dabbled in various sectors before specializing in consulting for the restaurant industry -- helping new restaurants establish themselves. He is a strong believer in the potential of Miami to become a culinary destination and wants to contribute to the development of downtown in this sense. Alloy is his first endeavor that is truly his own, and with his brother, he hopes to contribute to Miami's emerging restaurant scene. 

Luna

CO-FOUNDER | Communications Manager  

Luna Bertolotti is a veteran of the hospitality industry, having worked in high-end establishments for over a decade from Chez Momo in London to Casa Tua and Bagatelle in Miami. Italian and Indian by birth, she has held every role from mixologist, to waitress to PR lead and does not rest until each of her clients is having the best night of their life. She is committed to excellent customer service and curating unique experiences for Alloy's clients and partners. Her love for hospitality is infectious and you can feel it the minute you walk through the door.
